One of the difficulties
when stressed, is often the overload on the mind and body, and the
accompanying symptoms of sometimes not being able to perform even
simple tasks. The body can become so stressed that it is possible
for you to cut yourself off from what you are actually feeling -
your become numb and perhaps in a daze! Therefore, by following intuitive information,
(giving the possibility to get right to the "heart of the matter") I work with relaxing the body,
give relief to the emotional tension, whilst presenting
opportunities for the mind to appreciate and choose a different way
of behaving.

In taking an
intuitive look at your situation, I see what combination of
techniques would help
you the most. This might be to start with relaxation of the body, or
perhaps to discuss what is actually going on and give you details
and encouragement as to exactly what to do to feel better. This may
for example, involve sharing some different techniques with you that
you can use on a daily basis in your life, or it may be some simple
do's and don'ts to help you change your behaviour, thereby building a path
to recovery.

Example: Stress in the
Body
Many of us do not realise
the stress that we place on ourselves, as we have forgotten
to listen to ourselves and our bodies ...... we are very
focussed on what
we have to get done .... usually a long list each day......
and we pay no or little attention to
how this will leave us feeling. In today's pressured
environment, we can pile on
more and more, and eventually the body says No!
When we
suffer from "stress", even carrying out simple tasks can
become a problem for us. We may have trouble sleeping,
perhaps feel very down or depressed, or even when we are
sleeping we may not feel refreshed when we wake, as our body
feels tense or electrified all the time.... so it can seem
as if there is no peace.
The techniques I use both in
working with the mind and in giving healing are a wonderful way
when used in combination, to help your body recover from
these symptoms or simply to help you relax before the
symptoms become critical. |
